We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Account Executive to join our growing team in Nairobi, Kenya. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team in all aspects of the sales process, including lead generation, lead qualification, meeting coordination, client onboarding, and post-sale transaction support. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing customer relationships.
- Work closely with the sales team and CEO to identify potential clients and generate leads
- Coordinate and schedule meetings between clients and the sales team/CEO
- Conduct preliminary qualification of leads to ensure they meet our criteria for prospective clients
- Assist with the preparation of sales proposals and presentations
- Work with clients to complete onboarding requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide post-sale support to clients, including transaction management, customer support, and issue resolution
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure client retention and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology startup
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience working with sales and customer support software, such as CRM systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00-18:00. Hours may be flexible - you may be required to work outside standard working hours to achieve the greatest success and meet customer demands (e.g., participate in networking event with prospective clients
