Mobile Application Developer

benshi.ai's mission is to reduce health inequalities in low and middle income countries through benshi.ai's mission is to engage patients and providers to improve healthcare outcomes in resource-poor countries through advanced AI applications.

We seek mobile developers to join our engineering team. We are looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to translate codes into user-friendly applications. You will have the rare opportunity of building resilient and scalable machine learning products from scratch, together with other talented engineers, to boost global health via cutting-edge machine learning solutions. Prior experiences working in a similar role with start-ups is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with the engineering team to design and build the application programming interfaces (APIs) and other features required to support our machine learning platform
• Design and develop client-side/server-side SDK used by our partners to integrate with our machine learning platform
• Optimize and maintain the SDK

Key qualifications

• Experience developing, testing, and releasing mobile applications (at least one of the following: Android, Progressive web apps, etc)
• Solid knowledge of at least two of the following programming languages: Kotlin, Java, Javascript, Go, Swift
• Ability to work well in diverse, fast-paced environments
• Ability to interpret and follow technical plans and instructions
• Experiences creating libraries and APIs (having public Github repository or having experiences contributing to open-source is a plus)
• Good documentation skills
