benshi.ai's mission is to reduce health inequalities in low and middle income countries through advanced AI applications. We are funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
We seek product scientists to push the boundaries of AI in Global Digital Health. We are interested in individuals with a solid background in statistics, programming, machine learning and product management. You will be working together with data scientists, ML scientists and engineers and head of product design to integrate machine learning products in our platform.

Responsibilities:
Executes the technical strategy to design improved services and products that are aligned with product concept and design targets from initial crossing through the handoff to product development
Fosters strong collaborative relationships with data science, ML science, engineering, research, SDK and data definition integration, product development and partners to deliver a robust product pipeline
Identifies key areas of opportunity for new technology implementation and/or process improvement, while positively contributing to a collaborative, innovative, and design-centric culture
Writes good documentation
Minimum qualifications:
BSc/BEng degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or related fields; or equivalent technical proficiency
Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills to articulate insights, and great problem solving with thoughtful approaches
Preferred qualifications:
MSc/MEng or PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or related fields; or equivalent professional or research experience
5+ product science experience
Experience in data science or ML platforms
Experience in Scrum Master / Scrum product development and software release planning
Experience in deep learning and statistical learning applications
Experience in leading and influencing activities of cross-functional teams without direct reporting relationships
Results orientation with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously
